If you see the "Gimbal Under Protection" message on your Aeroo Pro, don't worry — this is a built-in safety feature designed to protect your gimbal's delicate motors.
Why You’re Seeing This:
This message appears if:
- The drone was powered on with the gimbal lock still in place.
- The drone was shaken or moved suddenly after being turned on.
In these cases, the gimbal motors temporarily disable themselves for protective purposes.
How to Clear the Message
Step 1: Turn Off the Drone
- Power down the drone by switching off the battery.
Step 2: Remove the Gimbal Lock
- If the gimbal lock is still attached, remove it carefully.
Step 3: Restart the Drone
- Power the drone back on and let the gimbal perform its startup sequence.
The message should now be cleared, and the gimbal will move freely.
How to Prevent It Next Time
- Remove the gimbal lock before powering on your drone.
- Keep the drone still while it starts up so the gimbal can initialise smoothly.
