In 2019, photographer and fisherman Oscar Greenwood went looking for a fishing drone that didn't cost an arm and a leg, and couldn't find one worth trusting over the water. So he built it. After hundreds of failed PCB designs, 3D printed prototypes and "testing sessions" at the beach, Aeroo was born, and the garage quickly disappeared under 3D printers, soldering stations and packing boxes.
Today that garage is a full team of engineers, technicians and support staff taking on the world's drone giants. When you call, you're talking to someone who's flown the drone, probably that morning.

Over 1,200 components go into an Aeroo Pro, and unlike most manufacturers, we don't just plug off the shelf modules into a shell and hope they get along. The airframe, sensors, firmware, app and flight-test standard are developed together as one system. So when something needs fixing or improving, we can actually find it, and fix it.
Drones can capture a lot: mapping, high-resolution video, personal information. When you fly an Aeroo, your flight log is recorded to your device, and your device only. If you ever choose to share one — say, after a crash — it goes to Australian servers, controlled by our Australia-based team. No offshore clouds. No fine print.

There is no power going through the charger. Tried it on my phone to see if it recharge indicator lights up and it’s dead. Not working at all
The drone's first flight. Have it sorted for landing closer to the pad, as I didn't let it hover long enough over the pad before taking off.
Delighted with the drone. Slow to get sent because of sale rush. But once it was shipped it happened quickly. Had a problem with it initially and Aeroo paid for its return to Auckland to be checked and sent back. All at no cost and completed very quickly. Haven't been to the ocean yet but am learning to use it around home first. Delighted with the full package. Thank you Aeroo.

Great drone, but even better service. Aeroo mucked up my order and it only came with one battery, sent them an email, and they got a new battery dispatched the following day and arrived the day after. Then my transfer cable stopped working, and they shipped me a new one the following day. Great service and back up for products.

Haven’t been fishing yet but been practice flying carrying/ dropping loads on the beach. Does everything advertised. As a novice drone pilot I have not found it difficult. A nice piece of kit !!!

Using tge Aeroo pro has totally been a game changer for surf beach fishing. I caught the biggest Snapper of my life weighing in at 12kg which after weighing i returned it to the sea. A beautiful moment and proud to let it go.

15 minutes after 1st flight 2 snapper in the bag. Having a great strike rate on Greymouth beach where we usually struggle to catch much than more sandflies.
Really help with handling the drone and the fishing rod, especially if you get a strike straight away
Works a treat. Easy to setup, operate and carry. 300m drops where catching good fish. Double hookups for my wife and me.
Got mine the other day very happy with the controller,I wish it did come with a lanyard now I got to order 1 now.
Three missions so far, and a total of 4 snapper, 11 rig, and a kahawai. I'm finding with auto return, it misses the landing pad by half a foot, but this could be due to our iron sand beaches, and besides that it's quicker (and less battery drain) to just land manually anyhow. Much less cleanup than a kayak!!!

Received my order and put the lanard on the smart controller, adjusted the straps, then proceeded to charge the controller and that is as far as I got. The weather turned for the worse so haven't managed to use my Aeroo Drone since the first outing a month ago🤬🤬.
Aeroo pro is a good drone and it can drop your bait to all spots you want. Battery lasted 4 flights in strong winds. I personally give 5 🌟 stars to Aeroo pro.
