The 2026 New Zealand Boat Show was an incredible few days for the Aeroo team, giving us the chance to connect with passionate fishers, boaties, and drone enthusiasts from across New Zealand. From the moment the doors opened, the energy surrounding the event was incredible, with thousands of attendees coming through to check out the latest innovations in marine technology, fishing gear, and boating equipment.
For us, the show was all about getting hands-on with the community. Visitors had the opportunity to see the Aeroo Pro up close, chat with the team, and learn how drone technology is changing the way people fish and explore the water. One of the biggest highlights was seeing people’s reactions to the drone’s payload capabilities, ease of use, and live camera system.
With our live activation, visitors could get hands-on experience with Aeroo and even create their own bait drop. The interactive setup drew plenty of attention throughout the weekend and gave people a real feel for how intuitive and capable the system is out on the water.
The response from attendees was overwhelmingly positive, with many people excited about the possibilities for drone fishing, aerial filming, and exploring new ways to fish smarter and further.
