If your Aeroo Pro isn't hovering steadily and seems to drift or fly in circles without any input from the controller, don't worry — this can usually be fixed with a few quick steps.
Step 1: Choose a clear, open space
Fly in an open area, away from large metal structures, power lines or buildings. These can interfere with the drone’s compass and sensors.
Step 2: Calibrate the Compass
Follow the steps in the Aeroo Fly app to perform a compass calibration. This ensures your drone is aware of its orientation and can hold its position accurately.
Step 3: Calibrate the Gyroscope
Calibrating the gyroscope helps the drone stabilise and maintain level flight. You’ll find this option in the app under Settings → Sensor Calibration.
Step 4: Calibrate the Remote Controller
Sometimes the remote may require a quick calibration. Refer to page 26 of your user manual for step-by-step instructions.
Step 5: Enable Aeroplane Mode on Your Phone
Switching your phone to Aeroplane Mode prevents unexpected wireless signals from interrupting communication between the remote and the drone.
Step 6: Check the Payload Release
Ensure the payload release is in the open position. If it’s closed, the drone’s downward sensors may be disabled, which can impact its stability.
Once you’ve completed these steps, your drone should hover smoothly again.
